Thanksgiving Eve is essentially the night before the turkey coma and that’s not a joke. In Baltimore, Maryland there is a tradition of having cool local bands play on this night and at Baltimore Soundstage Charm City Devils performed a rockin’ set for their hometown crowd.
Thanksgiving Eve has always been billed as one of the biggest party nights of the year but in all honesty I’ve seen more people out on an average Saturday night!
Charm City Devils opened their set with “Spite” off the bands sophomore release “Sins” and that led into “Let’s Rock N Roll”.
CCD have grown alot as a band these last few years and recently they’ve opened for Ace Frehley & Slash.
Before starting “Best of the Worst” John Allen stated, “This is a song we don’t play that often outside of Maryland.” and that song was one of the highlights of the night, as always!
CCD’s set closed with “Unstoppable” which brought the house down. For their encore John Allen invited the original bassist for Child’s Play (not Idzi) onstage to jam an AC/DC cover. The nights final song was the bands latest single “Karma” and afterwards the entire band came out to meet fans, sign autographs, and hang with family.
